Hi,
I just wanted to play with custom WB, different light sources and RAW. Is this an appealing image? Maybe a stock photo?

IMO as for stock, that hot spot may be a bit too much. Perhaps try to burn it down a bit. Or if you reshoot, use something to diffuse the light a little more. More even lighting of the BG will make it have wider appeal also, because alot of stock work is cutout, and it would be difficult to cutout a subject with uneven lighting, or even blend the shot into say a white label.

I wondered if the non-white background would be an issue. As for the hot spot, I quite like it as a highlight but I take your point!

Heh...I thought this was going to be a duck when I saw the title.
I honestly like this quite a bit. The starkness is nice...I would crop it a smidgen on the left, but that's a personal preference thing.

interesting, but it seems a little crooked. Plus a bit soft. The hot spot is distracting, but can easily be fixed with PP. The non-white bg doesn't bother me. I like the fade.

I agree with the hotspot and background. I also think that the double shadow might be a bit of a hangup.

But these are all small things. The color is great and I like how you positioned it.

I like the graduated white leading into the manderin but I think the double shadow either needs to be emphasised more or got rid of. Hot spot has been covered, I think it would also help if you found a manderin or possibly a clementine with more texture in the skin for this style of photo.

I love the simplicity of the composition. Good attempt at a difficult subject
