    Re: Man In A Corner

Saw this over on FM in B&W Forum and responded as well. Like I said I like the overall image but all the lines from the wall and the floor may be distracting me somewhat from your main subject the man. Really like how you captured him unnoticed or what appears to be that way. Like your processing with the grain. Very nice.

I think the lines and block shapes are an integral part here as they define the corner so well.. I am especially glad the bigger blocks behind the man are more vertical. We can play a game with the blocks just as the man might be enjoying a game of Tetris on his phone while his partner is using the loo.!. The overall treatment is great.

This one works for me --- lines and block shapes -- the grain, its all good. I see serious quietness here. I like it!

Black and white was a good choice. I like all the textures. Your composition is good, I think. It kind of bothers me that I can't really see more detail in his hands, though.

    Tuna,

Where do you find all these wonderfully tranquil places?

Excellent as usual and the grain in this one really sells it for me.

Post-processing is perfect. Well seen and captured, as usual.

Wow, almost looks like a pen and ink drawing. I like it. Nice geometric composition.

I really like this. The minimalism is excellent. The lines are a great element to lead your eye around the shot. Outstanding!

Very very nice. The lines really work for me as they lead your eye toward the man. His pose and pre-occupation suit the setting. Your choice of B&W and the grain suit this perfectly. Wonderful shot!
