Hmmm. I don't really see any central object that immediately draws my attention. The angle you took it at is prob the most intriguing aspect. The sky is somewhat bland here unfortunately, which is not uncommon in Cali in the summertime... (not a cloud in the sky).

Sorry to be somewhat negative, but I've also seen the same thing in my own pix of the waterline, esp shots of boats. It's just harder to get a special shot than it seems.

Thanks for the comments GB. The cloudless sky did bother me. In the past few days there have been clouds in L.A. but I didn't have time to hit the coast for photos. Clouds improve shots in many ways as most of us know.

I thought the fisherman looking in my direction would serve as a point of interest but maybe the shot is off balance with the structure on the left and the extra fisherman to the right?

I also thought that the fisherman looking at you was the biggest pt of interest. But he's so small in the shot... Plus, the hat puts his face in shadow. It did have potential but if he was doing something funny or crazy, might have been a better punchline.

Sometimes I wish there was more rain in Cali. It would spice up the photography here
