Thanks Meg & Payn... I appreciate the feedback! Yeah, as soon as I posted this, and looked back over the photo, I was thinking...hm...that seed is going to be a sticking point on this one...
Thanks for the thoughts on this again,
Emily
Wow, excellant idea. Never remotely thought of this.
Great but I think I would have been a little farther back so that it wasn't choppin off the top hair. Could also be a tad sharper. Otherwise, very original concept. Kid photographers should use this as a regular pose.
Thanks for your thoughts on this, GB... She tends to walk right up to me when I'm taking her picture...hehe. I'm sure we'll be doing this one again though, as she seeks out the dandelions whenever we're out!
I'm probably wrong here Emily and correct me if I am. The look in Juliannas' eye gives me the impression that you may have asked her to do this for you. It just looks a bit posed for me. If I'm wrong I'll only drink one glass of red tonoght.

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan
Hey overbeyond... It was sort of a half and half posed shot...she was definitely picking up every dandelion to blow away, but like with this one, I got in front of her for the shot...hehe.
Wonderful lighting, exposure and dof. The colours are rich and true. I love the motion you captured and the expression on the little girls face is just priceless! I think I would have liked to see a bit more of her hand though.
Absolutely beautiful!
How fun!! the seed in her eye doesn't bother me really. I think the concept is terrific. Even the sky peeping between the trees is contributing to the effect here. I agree that I would like to see a little more of her present. Or a serious crop of just her lips blowing the seeds.
