Don't know about you but haven't I seen that implement in the torture chamber?
Just a couple of things I like the composition especially with the water on the leaves but would have liked to see them a little sharper, especially the leaf to the mid/top right with the bright green edge and dark green inner with the water droplets
The big stem to the right is distracting and takes away from the bud - any chance you could just chop it off?

This is very good. I find the left side distracting and would try a square crop to remove much of it - just leave a little space between the bud and the edge.
Very nice effort. I would try to tighten up on the bud itself. That after all is the main reason for the image. I find the background and the areas to the side somewhat bright and distracting from the main focus of the photograph. Keep snapping and posting. In Atlanta I know you have some great opportunities with this type of photography. I'm looking forward to your next image.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Definitly go in a little more on the bud and try and get a angle were some of the leafs would complement it . Color is very vibrant you have good lighting.
