Macro shot

I like taking Macro shots of insects because when you get it right they really stand out.
I like this one because of the simplicity and also because of the colour.
It may not be correct but I just like it.
It was taken on a Canon EOS 350D using the supplied lens and a +4 dioptre close up.



It was processed to reduce the noise, resized to 50% smaller which also helps reduce the noise even further and then sharpened slightly.

Very nice. Not sure why you say it isn't correct? Great job, but if anything I would offer some small advice to not sharpen any more than you have to, for it seems that the detail on the bee is a little too detailed, which is usually a sign of oversharpening (takes someone who's done that to see it )

Outstanding!! I love my macros as well and you have a top notch one here. I think the closeup diopter filters get a bad rap. If you got good ones they get great images like this. I also think GB1 is on to something give it some thought.

Very nice! The bee is great. I love the way the light reflects off of his wings. The white flowers are nice too.
