    The detail in the iris is amazing. I like the off-center layout of the image so it gives more feeling to the shot, and doesn't make it seem like a bulls-eye.

    The pupil. It's kind of odd that the subject is completely black, but it works.

    I really like this shot! If you originally shot this in color I would love to see that shot as well.

    I like the way b&w adds a dramatic touch to a shot but think it is sometimes overused. Many of the beautiful shots I see posted here I think would be even better in color. I think this is one of them.

    It was taken originally in color, but once I show something in B&W I vary rarely show it in color.

    That is great! My Macro Lens came today but i was at work.... Looking foward to tomorrow. What Lens are you using. I bought the MP-E 65mm f/2.8 1-5x hope it is what i expect.

    Hehe, I was wandering when someone would ask me that! I put my normal Nikkor 70-300mm f4-5.6 telephoto lense on my camera, then took my Nikkor 50mm f1.4, flipped it around and attached it to the end of my telephoto lense to make for a really good macro "lense".
