    Low Flying Jets

Here's another from my little Lumix camera, from the new Air Force Memorial in Arlington.

Funny CL ... Not sure that the background is perfect but I like the model planes.

Overall, it's kinda neat. However, IMO I think it would have looked better if you would have waited til the sun got a little lower.

    Re: Low Flying Jets

Thanks for the comments guys. The planes are etched into a thick pane of glass. I have attached a similar picture with the sun slightly lower. This was kind of a weird shot as the sunset was reflected off of a polished granite stone and then reflected again into the pane of glass which the jets are etched upon. I thought it was neat ~ might try to go back for the same effect with the big camera. I will take your suggestions into account when I re-shoot.
    Thanks!

    Re: Low Flying Jets

I like the effect of both of these photos. This is a glass panel in the middle of the open area I would guess based on the opposite side (l-r) of the 'jets' we see in the two images?

The first is currently my preference as the jets seem to be coming at me more and I feel more involved with them as a result.

Sunlight at different angles could be exploited in many ways with these. The artist I bet had those very effects in mind!

    Nice shooting!
