    I like this very much Don; it's got a sort of "evacuated city" look to it with the promise of something nasty to come. You did well to have the very last surviving bird in the city happily perched on the nearest post.
    It really needs the faintest of pencil line borders around it just to keep it together.

    This is one of my fav. shots by you. I love the composition, and the seagull is a nice fit. That cloud is eerie and bleak, but the colors on the bottom are rich. The seagull sends the message that even the living can survive in the bleak half of the photo, at least, that's one of the messages i can see off hand

    Wow! It's really surprising that you guys like this. This is one of my least ambitious photos, grabbed through the front window of the bus as it turned a corner. I didn't even see the gull on the streetlight until I cropped it down to remove all of the window washer and odd-shaped window shadows.
