Perhaps if you used a flash we would see the photo?

Cute image, the focus seem to be on the hands and forearms. With a little more depth of field the child image would have been in focus. A tri pod helps. I like it without the flash, more natural. I have a similar photo of my son with spagetti all over his face.

    Re: Love 'em cookies...

I was actually more interested in the technique than 'cute' or not. The fact is, Im stuck at home with the kids, so I practice techniques on ... the kids!

How would have put more dof on this?

The problem that I have with the tripod is how static it is. It works wonders for still shots, but for people, I can't get it to work for me. Any ideas?

1/25 of a second wont stop moving subjects its motion blur u have not dof problems.. u need a faster shutter speed.. not a lot for that one but definitely some..

upping your ISO higher than 400 will give u it.. or u need better light.. assuming u dont wnat to go wider than F5.. i see no reason not to thow..

Thanks!!!! I'll try that. Since I was shooting flash less, I'll try uping the ISO.
