This sculpture has an interesting histoy. It was originally the official image located behind the legislature building. Certain crititcs made so many demeaning comments that it was moved behind St Boniface College in St. Boniface (the Francophone distract of Winnipeg).

It looks like an interesting sculpture. Photo wise, I think it's a little too bright at the very top. Was this taken on an overcast day?

Some points:

- A little more room above the statue's head..?

- I almost feel like I'm looking at the Vietnam Veteran's wall in Washington D.C., but there's no names on the wall. It seems like space was made for something there, but alas, nada.

Otherwise, I do like the composition and the overall lighting.

Kinda freaky looking. I can see why critics badmouthed it. Do you have a shot of the enclosure? It looks confining.
