    Re: Loudness in Quietness

I see the quiteness in the reclining statue/carving by the window.
But I can't appreciate the loudness.

    Re: Loudness in Quietness

I think the loudness would have shown more if the shot was in color, especially since the statuette seems to be reclining with a hand to its ear as though it is listening. You have an unusual eye and I like it!

I like it. It has contrasting simplistic and busy areas and appeals nicely to the eye! Well done yet again,

Hi Paul, Thanks for pointing out the weakness of the pic.

Hi Bajan, Thanks for your appreciation. Your suggestion is valid.

Hi Jared, Thanks for the analysis of the pic.

    Hi Yoyo,

I think the composition would be better if the Budah was moved up/left so that one can see more of his body as he looks out over the world. But, I see a plastic basket at the lower [edit] RIGHT [edit] that may not be attractive in the photo. Too bad you could go rearange that display, eh?

    Re: Loudness in Quietness

The loudness of the picture lends itself to a pattern of objects if you look at it long enough. I think that you could have waited for the hand on the left to get out of there, though.

Hi Furchin, I am glad that you feeling the sound through the photo. The hand was added intentionally to increase the busy feeling of the shot.

Hi Rakesh, Thanks for your appreciation.
