First impression: This is the kind of stuff I loved from you earlier. Has a Nottingham/Medieval feel, with the grittier feel of your earliest posts here.

The eyebrow piercing keeps grabbing my attention in a bad way. I keep seeing it and saying to myself, what the heck is that? I wouldn't expect to see a piercing with the robin hood mood projected here.
The grove of trees is perfect as is, hopefully tomorrow's is as good. I wonder a little how the trees behind are better lit that the trees in foreground, although I'm not sure if it really bothers me or not.
I would like to see this even grittier, with some of the processing to the h_o_4 you posted a long time ago.

The crop make you feel you are viewing it through a helmet visor, not sure it that adds or detracts from a wonderful image. only nitpick would be that his shirt needs to contrast with the snow a little more.
Oh and it needs a wolf in the background.....

I like the background, the theme and the outfit. I also like the air in the hair and the pose. I don't like the crop - I would include all of the head. I think you would need to be careful about the white sleeves not blending into the white snow too much also - but this is not an issue in the photo submitted. You are excellent at post process, so I am sure this one will not be an exception. Good luck on the reshoot.

Nice intense expression, nice crazy hair, nice outfit, nice background, mostly nice lightning coming from the sides/back a bit

Quite a number of things I'll like to see changed
he is centered
the head is cut
crossed arms to close to the bottom of the frame
crop is too tight
details on the vest are hard to see , at least in my monitor
light/ colors of foregorund vs background does not isolate the subject
hard to see the background of trees , that is, if you want to show the lines of trees getting lost into infinite

Hey Dray,
Great potential both in your model and in the environment.
What i would try (already suggested by armando) is let u see the crazy perspective of the tree lines.
I would try to let im look up a bit and take the picture from above look onto him ever so slightly to let us see the (i hope great) back ground and the full perspective.
Just a thought.

I like it as is pretty much. I also thought the shirt needed more contrast from the snow at first, but, after a closer look, I see that there is a nice break between the two.
I will nitpick and suggest something different inre to the cuffs. Right now they look haphazard, one buttoned and the other not. But that is very minor.

Despite some minor flaws pointed out by other fellow members, what I like about this shot is that it really gives me a movie like feeling, er...some movie to do with Wizards and so on..
I always have a special like to pictures that resembles movie scenes.

You have the perfect model, he has the nasty wizard looks, with some high level of power.

Dray, Very interesting expression on this guy. It has that theatric look to it, a good thing. I like his eye contact.

Now, my late-breaking critique. Not sure any of this is where you personally want to go w/ it, but for what it's worth,

- Why chop off the top of his head? Not that this flat out can't work, but it's sort of disturbing here. His hair is so interesting too.
- The arms do blend into the background snow. I think you can potentially make this better by masking all except him and darkening it a bit. Not sure how it will look, but worth a try.
- Lighten the dark vest area a bit.
- Can you make him bigger in the frame, hence decreasing the space between him and the trees? I think there may be a tad too much negative space there.
