    Re: Looking for critique! :-D

i feel this is the weakest image. the tilt of the girl and towel, the strip on non grass a the top, and the tilted head all seem to distract me, or make it a weak image.

thats my opinion and others may feel different.

The colors are vibrant, but her legs up like that just seem a bit strange to me. But it is unconventional.

I think that I would feel ok about this one if it wasn't from her legs up in the air and the shallow dof. The colors are remarkable though. Simply put, I am not sure what to think about it! lol I like the pattern of the grass, the few stems arround her and her expression. On the other hand, her legs distract me and she's not in sharp focus so....

    Hi realworld,
I like the odd posture especially the feet. It seems the girl and the feet are disconnected in the shot but they are united. Very introspective.

I like the new one you posted here. Just crop off the top sliver to get rid of that background stuff. Her black hair provides strong contrast against the muted colors of the grass and sand ... Very powerful effect.

I agree with the others. The legs are distracting in the first and the second one has something floating above her head. But the grass and the colors are beautful and it is a powerful affect. I think your on to something....
