Very nice portrait of your son. Is this image taken with a medium format camera or is it just croped that way?

Wow, seems like a vintage photograph. A little soft around the eyes, etc. but OK. The shirt makes him seem like a baseball player. This could be Babe Roth when he was a baby

Jim B...I'm not sure what you mean re: medium format vs. cropped that way...?

GB...I was concerned about the softness, particularly around the left eye...it's kind of fun, that the outfit makes him look like a baseball player...

Congratulations, very beautiful baby and picture. You mentioned that maybe the eyes in the image could be sharper. I don't know how you feel about retouching, but the eyes could easily be brightened and sharpened in Photoshop so that they have more impact. I certainly wouldn't do much to it, maybe a very light fix. Fake looking eyes would ruin a very nice image.

He could become a baseball player, but he also looks inquisitive and intelligent. Maybe he'll become a photographer.
