    Taken with a new 50mm 1.8 on D70.

    I love the potential for this shot though there is a few things I'd change. The picture seems very unbalanced (too much on the left hand side). I'd rather see the flower currently in the lower centre to be moved to the far right, just to help balance everything out. I love the DOF, though just a tad crammed for me.

    Very nice. The colors are smooth and relaxing, like springtime alright. I love the middle depth and the flowers behind it. The front flower is Ok but is a little in the way. Nice eye and good editing

    I like it. The DOF is right for this shot - adds the right amount of visual depth. And I like it off-balanced to keep it dynamic. The black space is a positive in my opinion.

    GB has a point about the front flower. Perhaps sliding a little more to your left would have given a completely different feel to the image. Still, the way you shot it gives the feeling that the flower is peeking, tentative.

    I do see a lot of digital noise on my monitor. Would like to see it cleaner on that point.
