    Lonesome Tree

This silouhetted tree in the middle of a field just caught my eye. Shot with my p/s Kodak. I have tried to present it with some framing and a bit of cropping..Would like comments on my presentation..
thank you and hope you like it.

    Hello Ken,

I like your picture and I see great potential here but I would personally present it differently.
First of all, there is probably too much foreground here. Since the grass isn't lit, it isn't really textured or dramatic so I would crop some of it. Also, I wouldn't center the tree as you did, I would frame it on either side of the picture. Finally, this is more of a preference than an actual critique (so you may want to overlook this) but I am not found of the frame you used. I prefer simple black frames as they doesn't draw attention but thats just me.

    regards

    Seb
