Hi guys/girls,
I'm new here, and still starting out in photography (definitely have a lot to learn). I revisited my photos from London, when I went a few years ago that I took on and Point and Shoot. I decided to improve their quality via photoshop retouch. I was wondering what you thought of this photo, what I might do to improve?

Looks good actually, wish the building was a tid bit brighter its self. Other then that, i like it!

I think you have a pretty good exposure here with detail in the shadows and nothing blown out, especially in the sky.

It needs to be leveled and I sure wish the top wasnt chopped off.

@Frog: What does it mean to "level" a photo?

straighten = level (to straighten/to level) you'll see this a lot especially with architecture and landscapes.

Anyway, look at the lamp post on the right and how it is leaning.
If you are using photoshop to edit, there is a straighten tool.
When you use it, you'll lose your edges and will most likely lose that lamp post in the composition

The exposure is really pretty good.

One thing I am going to think about when doing shots like this is trying to add some human interest in the foreground. I doubt it is canonically necessary, but it might add interest in many cases.

@Frog ahh, I thought you were referring to color levels or something along those lines.
@daq7 there was actually the tour guide in the bottom left corner of the photo, he actually was in mid motion, but I actually thought he ruined the photo, likely because he was in there by accident, i guess with the intention of including a human subject might improve the likelihood that the shot will turn out well.
