Nice relaxing picture. The clouds and arrangement of the cages are artistic and the high grass and background make it seem like it was taken on a farm (?) Probably along the shore, though. I don't think the composition could have been any better, but might also have looked good in a horizontal format.

I like this better than No. 1.

The curved edge of the pile of cages on the right, clouds, and the diag lines on the bottom left all work together for me. Your bw tones are always good.

    Thanks guys!

GB: It was next to the shore. There were no real farm on this tiny, isolated island, despite the animals.

Manacsa: I went more gently on the dodging than I did with the previous picture. I think that the tones are more natural.

    Seb,

Where is this place? Its seems the perfect photographers dream location.

    No critique - excellent.

Surprised none have made it to the photo sticky but then I may have missed it. I'm only on here sporadically at the moment.

Hello Roger, this was shot in the Magdalen Islands as I have explaned in a recent post (it belongs to the province of Quebec, Canada, although it is lost in the atlantic ocean next to the Prince Edward Island). This is the most beautiful place I have ever experienced period. It can't be described, one must experience it for himself/herself.

    BTW, no sticky yet ;)
