    Live oak canopy

Tried not to overdo it as much as the last one. Better?

I like the green, but found the path too bright. I also think you don't need that much of an empty foreground. I personally would try to a low angle shot of this scene.

the tree on the right makes the image "right heavy" with no real interesting features.
perhaps cropping the image from the bottom right would eliminate most the road on the foreground as well as the "distracting tree" on tree on the right

The amount of foreground is okay but i agree that it's too bright. Making a new layer of the street and doing a multiply or a gradient overlay on it would solve that.

A really nice composition. It could use another element. An old man sitting on the stump, somthing. I love those trees. It reminds my of Jekyll Island.

I agree with AE that the path is overly bright, stealing attention away from the green. Making things worse, the path is pretty plain and not all that interesting. The question is, what could you have done about it besides not take the picture? Try getting very low to the ground and shooting slightly up: this may reduce the view of the path and fill the frame with the very nice greenery.

If you took this in the Fall when the path has a lot of falling leaves all over it, that may spice it up. I would return next Fall and try that.

Nice shot and those trees are gorgeous. I'd crop the lower third and it really pulls attention to the trees. Could be even better with a person walking up the path.

Thanks gentlemen. I going back in spring when the azaleas are in bloom. The whole place should be lit up with color then.

This is beautiful. I would have put a little more of the trees in the frame and less of the road. The trees are what makes this shots interesting and the road is just dead space. You are on to something though you just need to tweek it a bit.
