    Little Fingers

Over the holiday I adopted some old Bowens Mono 4000 strobes, cleaned them up and put them to work. I also scrounged a little flash meter to assist my learning. This was taken with my daughter semi-willingly practicing piano while I was shooting away. ;)

Both are wonderful photos, I am not sure about the black border on the first picture it takes a lot away from it. The second photo would be interesting if you took the same photo and cropped in.

Okay, I'll stop with the funky borders!

Glad you lost the funky boarder, though it doesn't mean it can't work in other shots. The crop was a good catch as well. Is that a ghost pressing the key slightly depressed or just a loose key. Cheers, S.

Both shots are quite good. The border on the first gave me a feeling of "looking in a window" but, I prefer the picture without it. You have an excellent subject to capture and I hope that you will share more of your work with us again soon.
