A little boat sequence..

these were taken a couple of years back.. i just happend to be in the right place at the right time..

an interesting piece of a boat..

all taken from the shore.. a very desolate place..

I feel #2 is the best, but a polarizer would have helped the glare on the water and brought more detail out of a great sky. The barges in the background take away from the beauty of the ship. I think you could do much in PS to make it a much better image. Your horizon is also a tad unlevel

i think there was a cokin grad on at the time.. they were taken with a leica digilux 1.. a strange camera.. as u say for proper presentation or printing a lttle tweaking would be needed..

and i must pay more attention to my horizons.. definitely..

very dramatic.. that sky by the way would have been totally blown without the cokin grad on the camera.. ..

if u want the original to play with i can email it u.. i think it would make a nice print for someone into ships..

I changed the color balance quite a bit(warmer)lightened it, softened the jpeg halos, and straightened the horizon.

pics sent.. looking at them its a shame i made a pigs ear of number four.. the lifeboat was going at a fair clip..
