    little blue friend

Got a couple shots of this guy on a few different days. Seems to like hanging out in this area.
This is my favorite pic of him. What do you think?

I enjoy the pano of this image and the hues of the blurred background how they mimic the pano. Your blue friends eyes are hidden in shadow and his black mask which is unfortunate. Overall though, very cute Cat -

    Re: little blue friend

I think I would like to see a little bit of a crop on the left (I find it distracting) and and maybe just a tad off the right (just to keep him out of the center)

Regardless it's a great shot. I think I'd like to see him a little bigger.

I was a fan of the pano, but the crop doesn't look too bad either.

I like the crop, especially with him being a bit larger. With the pano I kept focusing on the tube.. Regardless, great pictures all 'around

    Re: little blue friend

Great bg color to offset your Blue friend. You know, this is a really subjective thing about the crop. When I first viewed the original, I liked the idea of the long pano with the small subject on one side, very minimilist. Then when scrolling down and seeing the crop I thought right away it was more impactful and the way to go. Now I find that I only liked the crop becuase I could see what I wanted to in the pano. . . the birds face. Now that I have seen it, I prefer the overall look and feel of the pano. ( nothing against the birds face. . . handsome fellow) I think if I were to have both of these framed in my home, I would never tire of looking at the pano, but would eventually the crop.
The crop is about the bird, and it's not quite as sharp and exposed on the face as a shot of this tight crop should be, but the pano is about the bird and it's place in this world he shares with Humans. It's small size in relation to the long pipe and the vast mysterious and yet beautifully colorful bg leaves more for the eye and imagination, story etc.
Sorry for this long, and somewhat odd critique.
