    Lines

    The Imperial Sand Dunes near Yuma.

    Did a little tweaking of the original - comments?

    The second one is no match for the first one. Unless you do some cropping to the original, lower the brightness of the ground, reveals more details, darken the sky and saturate the blue a bit, etc., etc.

    It's easy to agree the first is a real eye grabber,it sure stands out.I like how the sand almost has the look of snow some sort of... I guess it's a "visual feeling"

    IMHO,The second image allready has that perfectly saturated very nice cobalt blue sky,wispy clouds.I like what aging eyes said about the darkening of the ground on this shot,I'd like to see that.
    This 2nd image as composed goes against the rule of thirds,but has really nice flow across the frame and great depth, those are a couple of the things that come to mind.
