I like it Tuna, but feel that it could be improved 300% (or so ) with a person lying down or sitting down there. That would create a feeling of contemplation and/or withdraw.

You have a very nice study here Tuna.
It oozes cosyness and intimacy, with the hustle and bustle a million miles away but really just outside the window. A place to rest. The grain softens everything nicely. The image is very 'everyday' (but rarely captured). The moment just before we turn the lights.
The ratio of light to semi darkness is spot on.

I would like to see the same spot and exposure with the camera turned to the left and with the camera turned to the right to get an idea of what this would look like with the lamp not centered in the frame.
I'm not saying this is wrong, I would just like to see it in other configurations before deciding if this is the one or not.
