    Leaves in Shadow

Exposed for the highlights to achieve higher contrast. Personally I like the lines on this one. Thoughts?

By the way, shallow depth of field was intentional in this particular shot to bring out the leaf in the foreground, but I admit I would have liked to experiment with other options, just to compare the effects.

charm,,,difficult image to work....Your exposure is good and it is sharp in the right places...A few things worry me here...The shadows in the foreground are distracting and there is no real centre of interest..
As an experimental exercise on camera handling its good.

    Re: Leaves in Shadow

Thank you, Jurgen, this actually was a practice session, partly on DOF control, but primarily on exposing for highlights to produce higher contrast.....so I appreciate the compliment. Thanks again!
