    Re: Leaves and Flowers

Don, the top picture is not bad but seems to have a color cast throughout (magenta, I think) and the street and background is too bright, competing with the flowers. The bottom picture has a very artsy look about it and I feel it works very well. The colors and highlights set off against the stark black bg is a strong image.I might suggest a small crop from top, and maybe right side if you wanted to keep your current dimensions.

    Re: Leaves and Flowers

The top picture has the little red X centered perfectly, and, as I look closely, so does the
    2nd shot. :wink5:

Obviously a poor attempt at humor on a Saturday morning (OOPS - not even morning anymore).

This is odd - I see all the other images on this site, but this one, oddly, is just the box with the little red X. Anyone able to tell me why I cannot see this: what I need to do?

It is a subject that interests me, so I certainly want to see what is posted.

    THANKS alot

    Don,
I really like the colors in the top shot and would really like the entire shot if the windows on the building behind were not there. If it were a plain wall it would work but the windows are a distraction for me. The lines in the road are a plus. Also, centered is a really hot, over exposed area that further grabs my eye. The colors are great, however. In the second shot the back lighting is what makes it for me. Nice shot.

Don, I don't know much about the type camera you have but are you able to blurr the background more on your close ups?
