    Learning Workflow - Floral Macro

I am slowly going through Canon's tutorial's on DPP, but in the meantime, I just like to play around and see what the outcome is. Here is my original image followed by the post processed image. The only post processing done in PS was unsharp and resizing before saving out to JPG.

How did I do? (feel free to alter these images.)

Looks great just the way it is! Appears that the saturation got bumped too, but that's not a bad thing, it makes it pop. Nice work

I really like how you have been able to freeze the bee's wings in flight. It looks as if it's hovering in mid air.

I prefer the first to the second photo. It seems over saturated for my liking, but otherwise, nicely done.

In the edited version, I maybe bumped the saturation a bit too far and it came out a little too contrasted. In the full sizeed image, it doesn't look as obvious. I also trimmed a little bit off of the edges on the edited image.

Other than the saturation (which I did, in order to make the bee stand out) what makes it better? I had the camera on AWB and the blues were a little too strong for my liking. What is your thought process on this?

Very nice, drop the 2 shots on each other and see what it brings? Good angle. S
