    The Leap

I've had this one in my gallery for a long time so I thought I'd drag it out to see what people think.

As usual, critiques and comments are most welcome.

    Thanks,

    PC

PC, really lovely. love the PP treatment also. The blur of the diver ads a sense of motion to this. Horizon is spot on, lovely dramatic skies. very nice!

Very nice indeed PC and I love how the diver just looks like a shadow of himself.
    Looks like a beautiful evening.

Very nice job, PC. The lighting, sky, diver... it's a great photo.

I have a huge "thing" for people in landscapes. I am really not sure why. And this one is unique. I enjoy it quite a bit!! Thanks for pulling out the old stuff

The kind of shot one looks at more than twice.
    Good one!
Since its the critique forum, the only thing I can think of is that it seems a little over-saturated maybe.

Liban, Overbeyond, Greg, cm_mtb, Trevor, & Frog,

Thanks for taking the time to look and comment; I really appreciate it. Frog - yes, the colors are probably a little stronger than some, but that's mostly my preference.

I should probably have given a little more background on this. This is at Natural Bridges park in Santa Cruz, CA. I was originally drawn to the rocks and light leading into the shot, but then this surfer came in and starting getting ready to surf. When a big enough wave came in, he jumped off the edge into the water and I was lucky enough to catch it. I actually thought he was either brave or crazy jumping from here, but I saw another do it a little later so I suppose that's the "proper" way to get in here.

I got a bunch of other shots from here as well, it's a really cool place and I highly recommend it for photographers in the area.

    Thanks again,

    PC

I have been to natural bridges, it's a NorCal treat.

Thanks Rick & Len. I've got some other shots from this area and will have to post some, but I'll have to wait a bit so that everyone doesn't get tired of my shots.
