    Lazy Ducks

    Was trying to shoot some ducks only to find them they were bored ;-)

    I like the pastel colors and tranquility. Might have been more powerful with a lower perspective: not sure.

    You are too far away from the subject (if you consider the ducks the subject) and there is too much contrast. A nice tight shot that only included the one log, ducks and water might work but I don't imagine you could successfully crop this image to that unless you were shooting with a whole lot of pixels.

    Well, it was lazy of me to lable the photo "lazy ducks". But it was my feeling when I got to that location, looking forward to see some duck actions only to find all of them just sitting there doing nothing ;-) So, oh well, what to do but changed my mind and just shot this scenic shot.

    Yep, looks a little boring to me too. Shot closer would have worked, as would a scenic have worked if there were some nice fall colors in the foliage.
