    landscape: South Africa

I would appreciate any comments on this one. I have not been into landscape photography really, so this is one of very few.
    Thanks,

Welcome to PR Benjamin. I like the inclusion of the truck. It gives a good sense of scale. I also like the way the background/horizon is framed by the diagonal cut of mountains and clouds. Nice Job.

I think that you need to crop a little bit of the foreground so the horizon would be a little less centered. Nice capture though. And welcome to PR.....

Welcome to the forum. I agree with the comments so far. The inclusion of the truck is good, but the horizon is too centered. A crop off the bottom, as greg suggested, will improve an already nice looking image.

Welcome. I wholeheartedly concur with everyone else. A crop makes the picture more dramatic.

Thank you all for your replies and suggestions. It's right, having it cropped it comes out much better now.

I like this as is. Yes the horizon is centered but the nice angle of mountainside coming from higher up on the right compensates well. Cropping I feel looses that nice insection in the bottom left.
A nicely filled frame with a lot of nice bits to look at.

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan
