A Landscape from me... Who'd a thunk that?

Believe it or not I am very capable of doing non bike photographs...
I did this one back in March, when I was doing some bike stuff, some of which I have posted here already.
I shot this with my Holga, using Kodak Portra NC 400, my favorite Holga film.
It is not how I had first visualized the scene, but I like it.
I like the reflection, the shadow and the form it creates.
This is from a scan of the proof sheet, I am sure a print would really make the colors "pop"!
    What are your thoughts?

I agree. . this would pop out nice with color and detail in a print. i like the colors and the and look of this image, but am not sure about the shadow going across the middle. I think I'm somewhat undecided about this. There is much here that i like but then the shadow I find to be a distraction. This is almost an abstract because of the shadow and the lack of anything else in the shot that might suggest this is a landscape. When I first look at this i think. . .Wow, this is cool. But as i keep looking I sort of feel that it is not quite what my first impression tells me it is. So, I am not sure about this.

Nice job. It feels like a cave painting, which I think is entirely appropriate given the subject matter. You are lucky to live in such a beautiful place.

Soon as I saw I was liek COOL a Holga shot--- I can't decide what I think...I like the watercolory feel to it but the "window" so dead on kinda throws me....unfortunately because of the format that the Holga shoots out it might be a bit sacreligeous to say crop I'm not familiar with the ethics of Holga shots but I wondered if cropping some of the space to the left and making a long vertical might make it interesting...I think it has a lot of elements that make it appealing but to gether they compete...
