    Lake Reflection - Help

I am Ok with the bottom part of this picture, showing a nice reflection in the lake. But i don't like the way the top came out - everything from the tree on up. The sky was practically white, and tried to fix it a bit in PS, but my PS skills are still developing.
But then I thought: "Why not just crop it?" But do you think that messes up the composition?

    Any opinions, thoughts please.

    Re: Lake Reflection - Help

I would try to lasso the top part, from the top of the wall up and darken it and use selective color in photoshop. I'll give it go in a while.. Baby sitting right now though....

I got a quick break. What do you think??? Before and after??? You could also go in and try and put more red in the barn and take out some small distractions. I'm only a rookie at PhotoShop.
I'm stll playing around. I took some distractions out. Added red to the barn and sharpened it some. I hope you don't mind me using your picture to learn with.....

The darkening of your image is better in the after but whay too contrasty. Your close but needs more tweaking. Try to bring the tree trunk back to its original look.

Too bad all the people who know how to run this country are busy running taxicabs or cutting hair.

Somehow when I went to edit all of the changes stayed with the previous picture so scroll back up to before & after. I tried to lighten the trunk some....
