    it is a crop, maybe 2/3 of full frame. Shot was hand held, 60 mm macro, flash off camera hand held off to left side.

    Re: flower and moth

    Overall I like the image.

    What I don't like;
    Two things pop out to me.
    The colors look way over saturated and the bottom part of the flower is cropped and perhaps crop a little more off the right to get rid of the little remnant of the pink flower, or clone it out.

    What I do like;
    The bokeh is great, I like how sharp it is, especially where the insects eyes are, I like the detail of his wings, I like the composition allot and the crop (except for the cut flower)..All in all a fine capture in my book

    Wow, I think those are both excellent, but the first one of the two is a home run right out of the box. The composition is perfect IMO.

    I like the first edit. The eyes are sharp so I think the motion blur in the wings and tail work too. I like the heavy saturation and the composition.

    Re: flower and moth

    Great bokeh,the moth is tack sharp were it needs to be.In this case I feel the super saturation is acceptable.IMHO the first image works the best.Nice work.
