    Hi..
    Well, as you can see this is a picture of the moon...I know that it doesn't say much but I'm just to excited that I got to close to it..;)
    I shoot it with the D70 @ 300mm A.40 - S.2s.
    Comments all ways welcome.

    just a tip but its actually motion blurred.. 1/3 of second at f40 isnt the way to do it..

    it might sound silly but its actually moving and u need a wider aperture and faster shutter speed to stop it..

    there is plenty of light there u dont need the very slow shutter speed..

    not bad thow..

    Hello,

    Nice shot, except Trog is right about the shutter speeds. It could be sharper.

    For a moon shot, you can just about set your exposure the same as you do in mid day sun. Try f11 and 1/film speed. That's a good starting point. It may vary a little depending on how high the moon is in the sky. It'll need more exposure if it's closer to the horizon.

    Also, it looks like your WB may be a little off...it's just a tad yellow...unless you where going for the cheese look. You would want to set that for sunlight, since the moon is in direct sun.

    I'll take the advices and if we have a good moon tonight I'll give it a few shoots and post the updates.

    Just took this one with A.8 at S.60 ...
