    Re: La Jolla

Nice composition. Colors could be better but that's due to the light you had and nothing you could have done about. If you can get there again, try a sunset shot with a better sky.
    What lens?

    Irina,

Being a San Diego resident I know exactly where you were taking this shot. Nicely done. As for the sky, while SD has been having terrific weather (is that redundant?) lately, at this time of day it would have been rare to get clear skies. Perhaps later in the day, but then you would not have captured the color of the water as you did in this shot. Nice shot. Hope your visit to SD was a good one.

    Re: La Jolla

Very nice composition, although i might have liked the camera angle a bit down more to include all the rock in the fg and a bit less sky. Still, this is lovely. Very good

Mmm... I'm not sure about I want to cut a little sky. I think it's in "golden section".

o yeh... Absolutely agree. But It's far from me... Maybe next time when I gonna be in San Diego.

Yes, Thank you. The visit was very god. I've visited SD Zoo, SD Sea World and Wild animal park in Escondido.

I agree about rock... But unfortunately I've seen this only at home.

Thank you for everyone for your comments. This made by Sigma 10-20 мм f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM. I like this lens!

    Re: La Jolla

Very nice Irina.. I'm a San Diego resident too and I'm also familiar with this spot. I would also like to see the whole bottom rock and a little less sky since there isn't much happening up there, but that's just being nit-picky because I think it's a great photo. I wouldn't hesitate to make a large print and hang it on my wall. Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful shot Irina. Too bad the sky wasn't better that day. I love the rocks in the foreground.

One bright side about the overcast day, with the diffused light you were able to catch great detail.
