    KiwiRail

Dull day so colours not quite what they might be, and B&W didn't seem to work.

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

    An interesting shot !

I may have waited 2 secs so the second engine was included completely in the frame

white balance may be a bit to warm

    Happy 2012!!

Thanks Armando, I shot a series of the train moving onto the bridge and this is the last when the camera decided the buffer was full......sigh. The warmth is a personal preference thing but I thought someone would point that out.....

And a happy new year to you too, as well as all the folks here....

    Re: KiwiRail

Pete - BWs tend to not work so well with this much green detail. For some reason, green detail just gets lost in BW. Interesting framing of things, I like seeing the mountains in between the bridge and road, I like the tree poking in the upper left corner. The warmth is ok, but it does make the train colors seem slightly over-saturated, the warmth I think could stay if the saturation was tamed down a bit. No other critique, good shot!
