    Kitty Triptych

So it wouldn't be a proper introduction if I didn't share the pics from the first day of my 20D ownership, nor either if they were not pics of the kids (I mean cats).

I promise, no more cat pics after this.

    More... More... More

Wonderfully out of focus, pure aloofness, undisguised curiosity.

Yeah, I should note that I'm very well aware of what's "wrong" with these shots. But I managed to catch at least 2 good moments so that's why they're here :-)

I was complementing you, your kitty cats and the presentation you have made, I see nothing 'wrong' in any of the images. The number of times I would have been happy with an out of focus image rather than just the tip of a rapidly disappearing tail, or the preference of an out of focus shot over a row of retracting claws as said cat jumps over the camera. No, full marks to you, no brickbats from me.

Cats are made to be photographed, photographers are made to try and photograph them, its an unending lesson. Enjoy.

It works for me! The middle and right one are especially right on. Your cat is quite expressive to say the least (or I should say that you managed to capture the right moments). I think that it would look better with a matte arround each images to give them some breathing space but that's simply a personal opinion.

I am not much on animal pics, but I do LOVE triptychs!
The thing I love about doing tryptychs, diptychs, etc is that you get multiple views of the same person, scene or cat in this case!
I think the work best with people and animals now too, because you get to see different sides of one preson or cat, in one total image!
I am sure you probably shot more than just these three of your cat, but you certainly picked three good ones!
Welcome to PR.com by the way!

It appears that this and any other photographs are currently unavailabe to view, because you have exceeded your hosts bandwidth limitations.
You can upload them here in your own personal gallery and link them the same way.
