    Koda Bear, my dog. I really like this picture but I will appreciate ANY thing that I can do to make them better.

    He sure looks noble here. I like the fur coat

    I think this is a situation that might be best dead centered and symmetric. You came close to that. Also, it could be a little sharper.

    Now, will be have the patience for a reshoot? He looks like he's getting tired of humoring you ...

    lol, EXACTLY! He is pretty good about sitting for his pictures but now I just have to wait for the weather to cooperate.

    He does look like a lion! So adorable. I think this is an awesome shot with his expression caught in this way. Treat him the same way you would treat anyone whose portrait you would be taking (if he'll let you). Try the same lighting and even some of the same composition "rules" such as three quarter profile, and catch lights, etc.

    Thanks for the tips. I will try this shot again with him, I like the idea of the back lighting with him too. He poses so well!
