    Kilgore Falls Maryland

One of a number of shots I took of a local waterfall a while back.

    What do you think?

I think this is beautiful and very well done. You have done well at smoothing the waterfall while keeping the light from over exposing. However, you have peaked my interest and I shall have to try and find Kilgore Falls Maryland myself now. Thank you for sharing!

    Re: Kilgore Falls Maryland

Thanks for the post CLK. I was beginning to wonder if the shot was so bad no one had an opinion.

Kilgore was not a bad place to cut my teeth on waterfalls. Good size falls (19'), easy access north of Baltimore and about a half mile hike into the woods and it was fall so there was some color in the foliage (even if I did tweak it a little in CS2).

If you make the trip some time I don't think you'll be disappointed.

    Thanks again!

    Dan,

This is an excellent shot. I agree with Roger...the shot is so good, people really have nothing bad to say.

    Re: Kilgore Falls Maryland

Very pretty shot. I'm originally from Md but never visited this area. Seems like you hit it at a very good time fo the year, getting the nice leave colors there too. The only thing I wish the photo had was perhaps (not sure) something else in the water to balance it out a bit. Maybe some floating leaves, that sort of thing. Your choice of shutter speed was pretty much perfect - not too soft, not to still.

This shot is probably good enough for a calander main photo (Oct/Nov month) for Maryland

That's why I didn't respond, it looks great. Guess that would have been nice to be told though ;)

Very beautiful shot of nature, looks like a picture from a brochure. Love the leave colors and the water looks so smooth... Great job!

Agreement with most others here, excellent shot. I am a waterfall junkie though
