    Kiackers

Some not-to-recent shots of kiackers taken out in Great Falls Va. All taken with Kodachrome 64. Think the film speed should have been a little faster?

The one in the middle is the best, in my opinion. The colors and water really pop out.

Always a favorite photo afternoon at Great Falls with kayakers! My favorite is the first which seems to be the sharpest and most interesting as far as concentrated facial expression goes. Love it though and always cool to see something familiar through some one else's perspective. Thanks for shaking these out of the archives.
    Cheers!

Arg, did I misspell it here? kayakers looks like it might be right. So much for proofreading my posts.

C, I agree, it seems that facial expressions can add a lot to photos like this... I will take your advice and try to include those into similar shots. What amazes me about these guys is how they handle the cold water and the flipping of their kayaks in 360s. Yikes. But it sure looks like a fun time and a great workout if you know the sport.

WickedExposure - Thx also. I also like the middle shot the best, though the contrast is very extreme. I guess it is what it is.
