I really like this image! It's seems a little soft, but it really works for me with this shot. I really like the colors in this photo too. Makes me long for warmer weather. Nice work.

I am trying to figure out just where that is?
Is it here in Utah or?
I like it!
The colors are very good, the buildings contrast against the green and yellows.
The only thing that bothers me is the branch that is sitcking out, in the very bottom center.

“A great photograph is one that fully expresses what one feels, in the deepest sense, about what is being photographed, and is, thereby, a true manifestation of what one feels about life in its entirety...” - Ansel Adams
The original is much sharper than this, for some reason I can't get this downsizing for web thing down. I have tried Bicubic and Smart Resize so far, not super happy with either one. Everything I downsize looses detail and sharpness. I was also hampered by the huge fire season that Alaska had last year, although Kennecott was over 300 miles from active fires the smoke was still very evident.
This mine is in southeastern Alaska in the Wrangell Saint Elias National Park and Preserve. To get there you have to drive 35 miles up an old railroad grade, then park in a lot where the grade used to cross a river, take a footbridge then hike or take a shuttle to Kennecott or McCarthy.

NIce shot.
I think it would be better if the bottom grass were cropped out. I love the angle of the mountain and the buildings.
And that one cloud is very distracting but there's nothing you could do about that. great shot all and all

I agree. Minus the cloud and crop out the branches at the bottom and you have a PERFECT shot.
I agree with everyone about the branch in front...But this looks like a photo you'd see in a calendar or a poster or something. Very nice. Probably worth the trouble to get to...
I don't know how to put this, but...I'm kind of a big deal...People know me.
