    Katie 1

    I took some portraits this weekend...wanted to post a couple here.

    What do you all think of this one? Does it "work"?

    I think she is too small in the frame

    I would have her got off the wall, closer to the camera, include her face and shoulders, or maybe as she is now, and use the wall as the background, maybe landscape orientation instead of portrait, the wall will get out of focus and make it look more interesting,

    unless you want everything in focus then you'll have to go to say F8, instead of F1.8, and since you are using 28mm lens a 1/50 of a sec is still fast enough to get a sharp shot

    The window really draws the attention away from her. And her middle blends in with the wall.
