    Kasota Prairie

Out and about today I saw this lonely boot sitting on this post. So I had to shoot it. I'm brand new to photoshop but I tried a little bit of cropping. Let me know what you think I should change not just in photoshop but with future shots as in camera settings.

It was a good idea to include the area around the boot. However, if you wanted the boot to be the subject, perhaps it should be a little more prominent. As it stands, the boot just seems to happen to be part of your landscape.

I agree with payn. It is a really nice shot, but the boot just seems to be a part of the landscape. If you wanted to concentrate on the boot, you could have gotten closer or zoomed in on it. I like how you kept it off center and would do the same if the boot was made more prominent. Welcome to PR, too.

Thanks for the help. I was sitting in the car and shot it from the car window. Afterwards I got home and thought I should have gotten out. Too darn lazy! Thanks again!
