    Kaleidescope

I finally got my hands on one of these again after all these years... here's the end result... I think it turned out well although no major skill went behind it...held it up to the light at 50 mm, 1/30 sec(handheld), f/don't remember...

    what are your thoughts...

    Hi,
I find these shots very attractive. I like the colours and the indefinite and unpredictable patterns of the kaleidoscope.
    All the best.

These are pretty neat looking shots. Reminds me of the Kaleidoscope I had as a kid; was totally fascinated by the thing. The only thing I notice that might be improved is that they are a little soft around the edges, but that's not really a big thing in this particular context. Keep the ideas coming... "shooting out of the box", even if you're looking into one.

These are very cool Natalie. I live about 1/2 hour from the world's largest kaleidoscope. It's built into a grain silo, so you actually stand inside it to see the "show" which is done with the use of a 37.5 foot(!!) pyramid of mirrors and a suspended video projector. Then of course you exit into the Kaleidostore, because you must. buy. something.

Maybe one day we'll have to have a Catskill area get-together.
