What an interesting image! I am enjoying the interplay of cat, man, dog and the stacking of planes caused by your upper perspective. I can almost imagine that the man has come out to look for the cat, who is enjoying his nap on the roof and his joke on the man, while the dog is amused because he knows where the cat is and the man does not. So many stories could happen in a scene like this. I'm going to put this one aside as I think my kids would also enjoy seeing this one. I also like the composition of the surrounding textures that encircle this scene. Thank you for sharing this one Yoyo! Excellent street scene capture!
This is an awesome shot!! I love your perspective. And the great LINES!! The lines on the curtains, the lines on the thing next to the drapes (behind the dog), the lines of the box next to the dog, the tiles, the corrugated thing behind the structure the cat is on, the structure itself. What a wonderful capture of lines!
Yoyo, you never did answer when you expect to have your one man show, because I would love to know you did. It would be so awesome.
And CL, thanks for the story. I figured the cat didn't know the dog knew and so that dog was going to have fun pouncing at just the right time when the cat woke up. LOL
I guess I just have a different view of things. I love the image but got the impression that the cat should have a chalk outline around him. Just the way he is sprawled out.

Hi D, Thanks for the analysis. I am glad that you mentioned the lines as they are my intention. I also focussed on the triangle formed between th 3 subjects. The cat was sleeping and he was not a trouble. The real trouble was the dog; it moved its head from time to time. I shot about 8 frames until I was happy with where he was looking. Regarding the one-man show, I am very flattered with your suggestion;) . Honestly speaking, I do not think my photos are that good, I am particularly not happy about the lack of depth in most of them; what I mean is that most of them do not provoke a deeper thinking of the value of life... May be one day.
