    Just an Old Fashioned ..

    No Trespassing sign.

The pic seems to have potential for something -- but what (if anything)?

G......I'm not sure what to think about this one. I like the concept, but there's something about that 'white' sky that bothers me. Maybe if you got a little closer to the sign and kept the sky out of it?? Also, this might work in b & w, I would think. JMHO.

Here's just a couple of changes I made to your photo that I would have done myself if I'd taken it. There is potential there, and I may not be the one that can find it or process the photo perfectly for it, but this is what I would have done to make that a better photo. I messed with the contrast and brightness a bit and also changed the levels just a tad to get rid of some of the "washed out" look of the photo.

Maybe if you paired it with a pic taken from the other side......
    No, I DON'T need that.

John, adrock2001, MB. Tks for commenting. I like your edit adrock, looks like you added some saturation. I see what everyone means about the white sky, but that's pretty much how I recall it was (more or less). John, the problem with getting in closer is that it, well.., becomes a picture of just a No Trespassing sign. It needs something else to make it more interesting. Alas, there were no cattle walking or farmers waving rifles behind it, so..

Re: Just an Old Fashioned ..

Actually, the road in the background, the pole, the trees and the sign with the wire make a decent picture. The one you posted just had to much "dead" space was all. I got rid of the dead elements and just left the ones that caught my attention.

I didn't add any saturation. Just added some colors and messed with the brightness and contrast a bit. I don't like an overly processed photo unless it's outrageously overprocessed and was supposed to be like that, ya know?

OH, and if you look REALLY close, at the bottom center of the picture is a single yellow flower!
Please feel free to edit any of my photos I post as an addition to your critique. I will specifically ask if I do not want a photo altered on a per photo basis. Thank you for your input in advance.
