    Just another sunset

Another one a took a while back and never looked at after the fact. I was just looking through all my folders and found it, totally forgot that I took it. Just adjusted the levels or curves (don't remember) and ever so slightly bumped the saturation.

    Thanks.

For me, I love all the nuances in the light, but I don't feel you need so much of the bottom. When I scroll up enough to cut off the bottom just a bit, it seems to balance out better. This is a gorgeous shot by the way. Wild and wonderful colors.

Lovely colours here BM. Love the cloud formation the great glows of orangish reds scattered al over the place and the cactusus! or is it cactai? I also like the multi layered background specially on the right side where you have the really greyed out hills in the back then a stronger darker set in front of them and then the really dark almost black foreground. Nicely done.

A beautiful sunset. I'm not sure the saturation bump was needed though, the heightened color makes it seem a little unnatural.

thanks for all the comments! Chunk- I agree, the saturation could be over done. That's someting I tend to do. I seem to often think that if a little adjustment is good, then more must be better. Still learning when enough is enough. That's why I post here!

Those are not catii! They are Joshua Trees. We don't have large cactii (saguaro SP?) here, just lots and lots of joshua trees. They are actually a protected plant, can't cut one down w/o a permit, even if it's on your own property, and most the time they make you move them.
