This looks like an "I was there" sort of photo rather than an artistic photo.
However.....I suspect the colors came out too blue, the sky and snow are overexposed and there is too much contrast in the overall image, finally the image looks tilted to the left a bit.
Really the only way to fix the contrast and highlight overexposure is to shoot near dawn or dusk (when it is really cold out, brrrrrrrr.......).
