Excellent. The semi serious patriotic look and body language of the guy against the flag backdrop works brilliantly. There may well be some minor technical he-cups but they don't bother me.

I think I prefer your original post. I really like the warmth of the colors and the way they work together. Those tones are lost in the de-saturation. There is plenty to look at and think about in this one which is good, the composition certainly works. I also like the vignetting on the edges. The one thing I wish there were more of was focus on his eyes as his face seems very soft on detail. As it is, it's reminiscent of a polaroid instant print from the 80s, which works well if that's what you were shooting for. Was this cropped from a larger scene or taken on a medium format or is it really a polaroid?
